The deep lymphatic system sits in the deep body compartments, running beneath the fascial layers. It travels with arteries and nerves inside the deep fascia and drains deep structures like muscles and internal organs, eventually guiding lymph to deep lymph nodes before it re-enters the venous system. The epidermis is the outer skin layer and does not contain lymphatics, and the deep system is not located above the fascia or non-existent. So, the deep lymphatic network is beneath the fascia.
